Pear Suite Scholarships
DESCRIPTION: Pear Suite Doula Scholarships & Billing Support Program.
Limited spaces! Apply to see if you qualify! The LA County Doula Medi-Cal Hub invites LA County doulas to apply for a one-year Pear Suite scholarship offering full access to their care coordination platform to manage client data, workflow development, documentation, billing and claims submission for reimbursement.
12 Selected doulas, who are actively contracted with one or more Managed Care Plans, will receive individualized and group training to successfully document their work, and bill for services along with wraparound support. Scholarships are limited and available only to LA County residents.
Note: The Doula Hub does not promote one billing service over another. We encourage doulas to make autonomous business decisions. Please apply for this opportunity if you feel it will support your developing Medi-Cal Doula practice.

The LA County Medi-Cal Doula Hub is collaborating with Southern California Legal Alliance for Reproductive Justice (SoCal LARJ), to connect qualifying doulas and doula organizations working to advance reproductive health and justice, and who may need legal assistance, with private law firms that handle a wide range of legal matters through this network pro bono (for free).
