DESCRIPTION: Join us at The Gathering Spot for a supportive and empowering doula mingle. This gathering centers Community Doula Champions, diverse doulas from all over Los Angeles, advocates, activists, Managed Care Plan representatives and community members. You’ll have space to ask questions, receive individualized support, and connect with others who are navigating similar pathways. Whether you’re new to Medi-Cal or already providing services, this space is meant to meet you where you are.
Receive hands-on support from trusted advocates and community organizations to support your journey as a PAVE Medi-Cal Doula Provider.
Engage with Managed Care Plan representatives and get informed about contracting, billing and family resourcing.
Bring your laptop and visit our tech support room for help with NPI number, PAVE Portal, Billing and Small Business questions etc.
Build relationships with fellow doulas and birth workers, expand your network, and identify potential back up support!
